Hello, everyone! Welcome to December! I wanted to give you an update about what’s going on this month, and some highlights from last month!
Last month we had a live performance at Maiden Bedlam, and it was wonderful! Thank you to everyone who came out to experience two hours of storytelling with us! In addition, we also released a few stories which include:
- The Possum Knight (Original Stories)
- The Kildare Pooka (Irish Folklore)
- Casimir And Baba Yaga’s Riders (Original Story)
- East of the Sun, West of the Moon (Norwegian Folklore)
Give them a listen at www.theskaldscircle.com/stories
You may have noticed already, but December is going to be a bit different for The Skald’s Circle. We haven’t met our monthly goal of $100 per month to be able to afford recording all of our stories at a recording studio every month. HOWEVER!!! There is good news! Thanks to the Maiden Bedlam event, we will be able to record this month! Casimir and I am scheduled to record on December 20, which means that the stories will be out towards the end of this month! We still need your support to reach our monthly goal for future months, however!
Note that we haven’t received any story requests for a poll to be voted on for this months. Submissions will be accepted until December 16th. Just email us your choice at theskaldscircle@gmail.com. ANYONE OF THE $1 Patreon tier or higher can do this; so if there’s something specific you want to hear, submit it 🙂
This month I’ll also be adding a history section to the website, as well as adding text versions of the stories we’ve told. Please look forward to it.
I want to once again thank you for all of your support. This has been a magical year with the official creation of The Skald’s Circle. I hope you’re enjoying all of our stories. I look forward to even more with you next year!
